Is 2012 Leo’s Year to Win an Oscar?

Leonardo DiCaprio has been eyeing the Oscar for years. Having been snubbed several times with not even a nomination, is 2012 Leo’s lucky year? Can his work in J. Edgar earn him the big win?

As a Scorpio Sun with a Libra Rising, Leonardo doesn’t have the strongest aspects on his side this Oscar season. The Sun will be shining in his solar Tenth House (career, fame) during the awards show, but it isn’t strong enough to ensure him the ultimate prize; that influence will only be from late January on -- not the entire nomination process. Plus, with serious Saturn sitting in his natal identity house, it’ll be hard for him to get the ultimate respect he wants as an actor. However, Mars (ambition) is in his solar house of hopes and dreams, so this could be his ace in the pocket if he does all he can to secure votes in his favor.
