Alexandra Bruce

Alexandra Bruce is the author of seven non-fiction books about popular culture, science and spirituality. Her most recent release is “2012: Science or Superstition.” This is her third book for The Disinformation Company, following “Beyond The Bleep: The Definitive Unauthorized Guide to 'What The Bleep Do We Know!?’” and “Beyond The Secret: The Definitive Unauthorized Guide to ‘The Secret.’”

Alexandra was also co-author with David Sokolin of "Liquid Assets: Uncorking Profits in Today’s Global Wine Market," (Simon & Schuster. Hardcover - May 6, 2008), which has endorsements on the back cover by Sandy Weill, Chairman Emeritus, Citigroup Inc. and Hamilton "Tony" James, President and CEO, The Blackstone Group.

Alexandra is currently the Co-Producer/Writer at Equilibrium Entertainment in Los Angeles of two feature-length documentaries, scheduled for release in 2010. The first, "Discovering The Gift," is about personal and planetary transformation, featuring interviews with New Thought luminaries, Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith, Jack Canfield, Niurka, Bill Harris, Dr. Sue Morter, Janet Attwood, Stewart Emery, Terry Cole-Whittaker, H.H. the Dalai Lama and David Bohm. It is now in post-production and Alexandra is co-authoring this film's companion book with Director, Demian Lichtenstein.

She is also wrapping post-production on the feature-length documentary with the working title, "2012: Awakening," starring John Major Jenkins and the late Terence McKenna. It was shot on location in Mesoamerica with the gorgeous cinematography of Director-Cameraman, Morgan Harris, VP of Mystic Fire Video, Inc.

As a youngster, Alexandra was a co-creator and Associate Producer of MTV’s revolutionary “Yo! MTV Raps” and later went on to direct and produce over 40 music videos through her own company during the height of the video music era of the 1990s.
