You may feel pulled in two different directions when retrograde Mercury in practical Virgo connects with the ongoing Saturn-Uranus opposition with a conjunction to rule-maker Saturn on September 22, and an opposition to independent Uranus on September 23. And, in between, we mark the Fall Equinox on September 22 with the Sun's entrance into peaceful Libra.

September 22: Mercury conjuncts Saturn

When the communication planet Mercury joins with authoritative Saturn in hard-working Virgo, you have the opportunity to implement a solid plan. Your thinking is crystal-clear and the only caveat here is you will have to make sure you’ve done your homework and crossed all of the proverbial t’s and dotted those i’s. This is not a time to wing-it!

September 22: Sun enters Libra

The Fall Equinox is always marked by the Sun’s entrance into this peace-making sign. It's fitting that day and night are nearly equal at this time because Libra is represented by the scales of justice -- and it's always lovely when those scales are balanced! If you know a Libra, you know that fairness is a core value for them and that they pay extra attention to others rather than just being concerned with their own needs. During the Sun’s transit through Libra (which lasts until October 22), make sure you get out of the house. This is a great time to socialize!

September 23: Mercury opposes Uranus

That solid plan from yesterday needs a couple of changes today. Uranus reminds us to keep flexible in our thinking and not get tied to just one idea. Utilize new information to keep the dialog going. Someone may offer a fresh point of view, or you may receive a brilliant insight to work into your plans. Keep your eyes and ears open to take advantage of this transit!
