Change vs. Experience: Vote!

11/03/08 - 11/09/08

This is a dramatic week as serious Saturn and innovative Uranus form an opposition on November 4. The day before, on November 3, relationship-driven Venus forms a T-square with a square to Saturn on one side, and to Uranus on the other. You're left wondering which end of this seesaw suits you best. To make this week just a little more dramatic, Mercury the messenger changes signs on November 4 leaving diplomatic Libra and entering intense Scorpio when the dialogue intensifies.

November 3: Venus square Saturn and Venus square Uranus

Last October 18, Venus entered philosophical Sagittarius. This week Venus in this freedom-loving sign forms two squares: one to Saturn and the other to Uranus. Simply put: you're faced with a decision. You are weighing your values and wondering in whose camp you want to pitch your tent. The square to Saturn gives you nut-and-bolts clarity while the square to Uranus, a desire for excitement and change.

November 4: Saturn opposite Uranus

Change (Uranus) versus experience (Saturn) is the mantra of this aspect. Saturn represents how you are structuring your life, while independent Uranus challenges traditions and the status quo. Whether this aspect gives birth to a visionary authority or an outright rebellion is up to the individual and the mood of the collective. What is for sure, whether for a country or a person, the challenge is to build upon your experiences while also being open to change.

November 4: Mercury enters Scorpio

The communication planet enters the sign of the detective and it looks like everyone needs to get to the bottom of something! There is information and data that goes missing or perhaps an idea is left behind. Words are colored by feelings, making the intensity level ratchet up. Have a hunch? How you feel and what you intuit is important, so pay attention!
