Apple, Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft

A look to see how various high profile companies are faring.

 

The shares in Apple have rocketed to unprecedented heights recently. Apple has a variety of charts – 1 April 1976, 3 January 1977 and the Nasdaq Apple 12 Dec 1980 10 am.

 

Assuming the Nasdaq chart relates more to share prices than internal matters within the company – it has tr Pluto square the Saturn Jupiter conjunction in Libra this year and tr Pluto sextile the Solar Arc Jupiter. With the lucky tr Uranus opposition Jupiter coming up across mid year.

 

It’s always tricky with Saturn Jupiter since it carries that ambivalent meaning. It can certainly suggest a rise to dizzying heights but also inherent in that is the possibility of a fall if confidence gets over stretched. Since Jupiter comes before Saturn the ups will tend to be followed by down.

 

There’ll be a turnaround of sorts in 2015 with Solar Arc Pluto conjunct Uranus – though that is not necessarily bad. However by that time tr Pluto will be conjunct Mars which looks like a road-block.

 

The other two charts certainly indicate a major reorganisation and substantial pressures through 2013/15 which won’t be easy.

 

Nintendo, 23 Sept 1889, certainly looks to be in horrible trouble, indeed has been for some time. Tr Neptune is now in the failure-ridden opposition to its Mars, having been opposition Saturn and Venus recently. With tr Uranus just off the opposition to its Libra Sun. There’s an emotionally and financially upsetting Solar Arc Uranus opposition its Venus to come within a year as well as the influence-ebbing tr Neptune square Neptune Pluto in 2013/14.

 

Sony, 19 April 1946, also has been sagging with tr Saturn conjunct Jupiter, opposition Sun and square Mars – all of which run till this October, causing aggravation and seriously denting confidence. There’s a great deal of confusion and high anxiety also through this year with tr Pluto and tr Uranus hitting their Neptune. With a major upheaval/reorganisation in 2013 with tr Uranus trine Pluto.

 

Microsoft does look panicked on both charts. The Windows 20 Nov 1985 chart has tr Neptune just off the debilitating square to the Scorpio Sun and aiming for the high worry/confused square to Saturn from this month onwards. There’ll be some uplift from tr Pluto sextile the Solar Arc Jupiter through the middle of this year.

 

The Microsoft IPO, 13 March 1986, chart has Solar Arc Saturn conjunct its Neptune within months so the same levels of muddle, anxiety and indecision. With an emotionally and financially upsetting tr Uranus conjunct Venus from April onwards for a year. 2013 sees high financial hopes disappointed with tr Neptune conjunct their Jupiter. Then a really hard slog and feeling deprived in 2014.
