An Aquarius Rising Asks About Chiron

Q: I've just read that Chiron is moving into Aquarius this week. That is my rising sign (sun sign Gemini) so I’m wondering if that has any additional affect on me? Thanks!

A: Whenever a major celestial body changes signs it does bring a shift in cosmic energy and influence. Due to its retrograde (backwards) motion, Chiron is temporarily back in Aquarius, from 20 July 2010 – 8 February 2011. Through this period, Chiron is only energising the final degrees of Aquarius (26 Aquarius – 30 Aquarius.

This will most affect you if you have planets or chart points – like your rising sign (also known as the ascendant) at 26, 27, 28 or 29 degrees of Aquarius.
