You wake up after a restless night’s sleep feeling achy, wondering if you’re coming down with something. As you stumble into the shower and try to plan your day, your adrenals are seemingly too lazy to fire their usual espresso shot of adrenaline required to get you motivated. You look at your astrology calendar. It’s the Pisces Moon Void, Of Course. Ackh! You already felt listless, but now you’re wondering if you should just throw in the towel right now, cancel all your clients and call in sick…
Should you? Probably not -- but if you’re sensitive, it’s oh so easy to get unconsciously sucked into the energetic flotsam and jetsam. It’s all energy, and energy we can use intentionally by listening to our intuition.
How? Try tuning into your body, your heart and ask a question. You might start with how you feel. Does your body need extra care today? Use the Moon sign. For the Moon in Pisces: How about spending a little time in meditation or in prayer, to center? A walk? How about making space for imagining, visioning and recording creative ideas? Think forward. You are strategically preparing for the time when moon enters Aries, an initiating, busy time - when you likely won’t have time to do these things.
Working with the Moon is one way to get the instant gratification of feeling more in flow, in tune, with your own nature. But we can also use our intuition to process difficult transits that can be overwhelming or confusing. Start by noticing where your attention is – and is not.
For instance, during a Pluto transit, you might be avoiding something you don’t want to deal with, so you put your attention on everything else but that Thing, or you overly focus on that Thing with no new results.
During a formless Neptune transit, you might find it easy to lose track of time, and you find your attention wandering as you wonder, Where did my day go?

During a Uranus transit, you notice that you want to be stimulated and excited by someone, something – anything. Your attention is oriented toward change.
Whether we feel edgy, unsettled, confused, strange… All transits offer opportunities to truly be with that part of us which needs to experience this particular energy. As often, they bring up our resistance to those same experiences. We think, a VOC Pisces Moon or a Pluto transit, what can I do with THAT?! Ultimately, the right question might be, How can I get out of my own way and make room for this energy to surprise me?
