The Sun enters Libra on September 22, marking the powerful Autumn Equinox. Libra is the sign of balance and thus this phase augurs the chance for us to seek equilibrium before the all-or-nothing Scorpio infusion that will follow. Where could you use more moderation in your life?
Libra is constantly weighing out the options and evaluating the relationships between people, places and things in order to find middle ground. Beauty comes from tempering any extremes and finding the art of just enough but not too much of anything. The same way a sweet relationship is cultivated by a good balance of give-and-take, reciprocity and flow are now key ingredients to creating more loveliness in all arenas of life. That is why Saturn does his best work in the sign of Libra: life works well when we’re in equilibrium with ourselves and others. This ever-elusive quest is nothing short of a constant balancing act for sure!
Since Libra is the sign of relationships, the next few weeks will highlight our connection to our partners, significant others and clients. You’ll probably feel more content when paired up in sweet simpatico than going it alone now. Libra also rules contracts and justice, so you’ll see these themes highlighted as well. In other words, it’s imperative to do the right thing in all arenas of life but especially in your close relationships. Play fair and make sure you are giving as much as you are taking -- and vice versa. If the balance is off, you’ll really feel it.
Libra loves harmony and avoids discord at all costs, so now would not be a great time to get into scuffles in order to test relationships. Better to step back and carefully consider your gripes before acting on them. Ask yourself if confrontation will bring more peace, harmony and beauty to your world and your relationships. If not, let it go!
