The ocean tides ebb and flow constantly. If the tide only came in the water would eventually stop and dry up. Same as if it only went out away from land. The ocean lives and breathes because it is constantly ebbing and flowing. And we do best in life when we do the same.
I used to be rigid. It was one way, my way because I thought I knew what was best for everyone around me. Being that way, I would get knocked down and hard over and over by people and situations. Just imagine being at the edge of the ocean and trying to stand as small and big waves keep crashing into you. Eventually you lose your strength and then you fall over. I got tired of always having to pick myself up and heal from the emotional bruises.
The Angels gently whispered to me that things would be so much easier in my life if I would just ebb and flow with life. When I started doing this, I thought it meant sacrificing by giving in to everyone else and not getting the things I wanted for my life. But I later understood that was just my ego resisting my walking a higher path. It means the opposite. It means we can have more because we are in the natural flow of life. It means speaking our truth but acknowledging that the timing for what we are speaking may not be now. Being more fluid within our lives will allow more peaceful moments with our families, jobs, love relationships, etc.
How can we do this? Breathing is a huge key to being in the flow. I know we all breathe but this is different. The Angels have always recommended three long, slow deep breaths to get you connected within. By the fourth breath, we will notice a difference in our stress level. Then we can follow that with an affirmation that all is well no matter what resistance we are seeing, hearing or feeling from the world. For example:
“All is well in my life and my relationships.”
“I am easily walking in the flow of life.”
“I am always blessed in every situation.”
Try this knowing you are not giving up on your dreams. It is that while you are waiting on them, you will be enjoying a much more beautiful day to day life.
I am ebbing and flowing with you, Christina
