Ben Bernanke, head of the Federal Reserve Bank, born on 13 Dec 1953 is an optimistic Sagittarius Sun opposition Jupiter perhaps square a Pisces Moon. With that expansive Sun Jupiter opposition keying in by sextile/trine to a publicity conscious Mars Neptune in Libra. He has a half-Grand Sextile – a lucky combination of two trines and tweo sextiles - of Sun sextile Mars Neptune sextile Pluto sextile Jupiter. His Mars Neptune is further emphasised being on the point of a T square to a Uranus in Cancer opposition Capricorn Moon’s North Node. So he’ll be impatient, go ahead, hyper-energetic though not always sound in judgement (Uranus Neptune Mars).
What is being spotlighted in his chart in 10/11 is his missing link – an unaspected Saturn in Scorpio. Tr Pluto is in a dreary, slog-on through-tough-times sextile to Saturn in 10/11. And exactly at the moment he has tr Pluto conjunct his Solar Arc Saturn in Capricorn, returning in Oct/Nov 2010. With tr Saturn square his Solar Arc Saturn come this August. While not total catastrophe time it certainly isn’t cheerful and he’ll be feeling untypically very downbeat.
Into 2011 his Solar Arc Neptune is approaching the lack-lustre, slipping-and-sliding conjunction to his Sun which isn’t success time and faring worse the following year with Solar Arc Pluto conjunct his Neptune. So not an easy road ahead for him.
The Fed Reserve chart, if the 9 am start is accurate, has a debilitating Solar Arc conjunct Moon exact within about three and a half months time; and its’ Saturn Pluto conjunction is picking up the square from tr Saturn in early August and more in Oct with tr Saturn square Solar Arc Saturn Pluto. It is not as bad as it was two years back with tr Pluto opposition Saturn Pluto. But it still has the exceptionally jolting and jarring tr Uranus opposition Saturn Pluto in 11/12. So the US economy will be bumping along the bottom for a while yet.
