Blame it on the Moon- Pisces
Ever have those days where your concentration feels it has flown south for the winter? When what is going on outside the window (or where the window would be if your office actually had one) is so much more interesting than what is going on inside? Actually let’s take that thought one step further- when what you imagine is going on outside the window is more interesting. Days when your ability to focus on the detail of numbers, risk logs, project plans and spreadsheets is extremely limited.
For me, these 2 ½ days each month are when the Moon is in Pisces. This is because during this period the Moon activates and magnifies my Pisces planets. Neptune’s presence in Pisces just enhances the effect.
Even if you don’t have natal planets in Pisces, for these couple of days each month you may also find yourself a little more dream-like than usual…at least that was the mood in my office today- despite the best efforts of the resident Saturnian to keep us all on track.
I have learned to anticipate this and work these few days into my diary. On Pisces Moon days, whilst I may schedule meetings, I tend not to pencil in sessions where problem solving and detail is required. Blue Sky strategizing though? The sky really is the limit.
I also take care not to over commit on deliverables and avoid where possible any detailed analysis of anything involving, well, detail!
Experience has taught me that the main achievement on a Pisces Moon day might be venturing out for coffee, but don’t discount all the deviations in the path while you are doing that. Creativity is also heightened during these couple of days.
Sure you might blow off training or indulge a little more than you normally would, but seriously, a couple of days a month can be easily managed…and with your imagination soaring over this time, may even be worked to your advantage.
