Bridging the Gap- Full Moon in Aquarius

 I’m a writer.

Writing is a creative activity. I play with it, I give birth to new projects, I take risks on it. This makes it a 5^th house activity.

I use it to express myself. I’m proud of my work, and I want recognition for my work. This makes it a solar or Leo activity. My hopes and dreams are tied up in it.

It’s also a solitary activity- it comes from within me…it represents me.

But in order to get recognition for my work, in order for my hopes and dreams to be realised, I need to detach enough to send it out into the world…and that is where Aquarius comes into play.

It’s only through interaction with others, with the greater community that I can drive what I do into the future. Interaction with others provides the spark of inspiration that feeds my creativity. Interaction provides recognition…it also brings with it risk.

Risk of failure, risk of loss of individuality, risk of invisibility.

Creativity comes from the heart, yet fear comes from the head. We all have both- creativity and fears. Heart vs head. Leo vs Aquarius. Tomorrows Full Moon. To go from Leo to Aquarius- or vice versa- requires bravery.

The Leo/Aquarius axis is the one that emphasises creativity and community, self expression and the voice of many. Leo is about honouring yourself, while Aquarius is adept at detaching from his own needs in favour of altruism. Leo is the heart and Aquarius, an Air sign, is the mind.

Todays Full Moon Uranus forms a link between the Sun and the Moon (is sextile the Moon and trine the Sun), as does Jupiter (trine the Moon and sextile the Sun). Uranus and Jupiter add a flash of lightning, the spark of regeneration.

If ever there was a time to honour your individuality, do something out of the ordinary and jump outside your comfort zone, this is it.
