Bruce Scofield is the author of the Maya-Aztec Reading, and a few of the informative articles in our Mayan Astrology section. Mr. Scofield is a practicing astrologer who has maintained private practice as an astrological consultant and conference speaker for over 36 years. He is the author of "How to Practice Mayan Astrology", "Sign of Time: Introduction to Mesoamerican Astrology", "The Circuitry of Self: Astrology and the Developmental Model", "Day Signs: Native American Astrology from Ancient Mexico" and hundreds of articles on astrology. He served on the education committee of the National Council for Geoosmic Research since 1979, and was that organization's national education director between 1998 and 2003. He holds a master's degree in history and currently teaches astrology and psychology at Kepler College and evolution at the University of Massachusetts. Presently, he is working on a PhD program in geoscience (solar system influences on climate and life) at Umass.
