The Bourne Legacy opens this Friday, continuing the series story. However, this time it is minus Matt Damon, who has always played the lead and chose not to return without the same director, Paul Greengrass. So can Jeremy Renner pick up the slack and make this film a success?
The Bourne series debuted on June 14, 2002, making it a Gemini. Meanwhile, Jeremy is a Capricorn, Aries Rising and Mars in Scorpio. The good news is that the series will experience Jupiter in Gemini, which means luck is on its side, and the film’s loyal fans will be out to see the film. However, Jeremy won’t win over the fans as fast, as Matt Damon created big shoes to fill. It’ll take time for audiences to adjust to the new character, but with some good aspects coming into place later in the month (Jeremy’s Mars Return), he can prove to be a sleeper-of-a-choice to lead this film. Chances are he will come back for another shot at the role if they continue the series, but it’ll take two films for him to become an accepted character over Damon.
