Canadian Mark Carney - City Superman

Canadian Mark Carney is to be the new Governor of the Bank of England from 1 July 2013. He is presently head of Canada’s central bank having come up through Goldman Sachs. The general consensus is that he managed the 2008/9 crisis better for Canada than almost anyone else.

Born 16 March 1965 he is a Sun Pisces and Virgo Moon so a Full Moon type who swings between the opposites. He also has a markedly see saw chart with the rather rebellious and tough minded Uranus Pluto Mars in Virgo opposition Saturn as well as the high-finance Jupiter in Taurus opposition Neptune.

He’ll be feeling serious pressure through 2014/15/16 with transiting Pluto trine Uranus in 2014 and much worse tr Pluto trine his Pluto Mars in 2015 when tr Neptune is conjunct his Saturn. His tendency will be to stand rock steady since his natal Saturn Pluto dislikes giving way but the strains will be enormous.

His Term chart, 1 July 2013 has a controlled and controlling Sun opposition Pluto square a reforming but constantly changing Uranus. So it won’t be a straight run by any manner of means. What will help is Jupiter also in Cancer conjunct the Sun and widely opposition Pluto which will make for some success. It is tied into a Water Grand Trine to Saturn in Scorpio trine Neptune with the Sun opposition Pluto forming a Kite. So influential, hyper-determined Pluto will be the driving planet. If he can hold it altogether then he might make a considerable difference.

Tho’ he will arouse considerable opposition since an over strong Pluto generally doesn’t make for popularity either inside or outside his place of work.
