Now that all of the planets are direct for the first time in 2009, things are clicking along at blistering if not chaotic speed. Has it felt impossible to come up for air? Remember this intensity the next time you're tempted to grumble about planets in retrograde. Sometimes a little planetary-induced time out is a welcome breather.
But alas, as everything in the cosmos moves in endless cycles, the retrogrades are coming soon enough. On the 20th Mars goes retrograde in Leo quickly followed by Mercury retrograde in Capricorn on the 26th. Will things come to a screeching halt? Will our appliances, relationships and text messages go to hell in a retrograde hand basket? Probably but then again we'll learn some dandy little lessons about integrity thanks to Capricorn.
What we think and say had better be in some kind of alignment or Saturn Claus will be checking us twice. And if that's not enough end of year turmoil, the biggest storm brewing in the heavens at the moment is the gigantic Lunar Eclipse in Cancer conveniently arriving on New Year's Eve. This eclipse is a doozy because it involves squares to Saturn and Pluto. Expect monumental, earth-shattering change over the next six months if you have heavy doses of Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn in your horoscope.
For all of us, old emotional wounds get triggered and ancient family issues show up just in time for the holidays. Cancer is the most emotional of all the signs, so stock up on the tissues and don't feel guilty for wanting to spend more time in your shell as 2009 goes out like a lion (a lion in retrograde at that).
