The Cardinal Cross - The Dance Continues

by Kay Taylor August 05, 2010 08:05 PM EST

I feel a remarkable shift in the energies on the planet since the weekend. I've seen some lovely movement in people I talk to and noticed encouraging news articles interspersed among the fear and bickering. Personally I'm noticing that my memory is much better again and my brain less foggy than its been for the past couple of months. I've seen a pattern over the past ten years; I am extraordinarily tired and foggy before a major planetary event (astrological or catastrophic) and then once the event occurs I feel much better. I have heard this from some other healers and intuitive people. It seems as if we are working overtime in the dream state helping with planning and protections, and then once the event is over there's a sense of relief and increased energy.

I'm happily surprised there wasn't something more catastrophic somewhere in the world on the weekend (besides the usual array of challenging circumstances). More and more I am cautiously optimistic. Although many of us are struggling with healing core issues and there's need for healing throughout our world, signs of increased healing activity are everywhere.  While we are in this transformational and revolutionary time, spiritual focus and worldly centering are still good medicine.

Last Friday the Moon in Aries added its energy to the Cardinal T-Square. Connecting to our hearts, families and love energies was my advice to fill in the missing table leg; this week the Moon moves into the sign of Cancer to help us with this balancing yet we're likely to feel a fairly strong tension in the balancing.

The Moon will move into Cancer tomorrow, Friday, around 2:50 pm and stays in critical degrees until around midnight (PDT). Another good night to stay home in my opinion (or at least out of dangerous neighborhoods as Rob Hand would say), and yet with some lovely energy to integrate if we focus on it with consciousness through reflection and meditation.

Luckily Mars is beginning to move out of exactness with Saturn and Uranus, providing a little less firepower to the revolutionary tinderbox.

More than ever this is a good time to connect intuitively to our highest path energies and make a list of what we need to do to manifest bliss ... or at least a sense of being in accord with purpose.

The Cardinal Climax meditation posted a few days ago would still be beneficial for a Friday connection to the healing and initiating energy. You can also imagine you are sitting in the middle of a cross formation using planetary keywords. On one spoke is Structure, Success and Initiative. Across from it is Awakening and Expansion. On the end of another spoke to the side is Transformation and Power and across from that is Love and Security. Feel the dynamic tension in these energy and imagine breathing them into your core, allowing them to mingle and connect. You can focus on exhaling the negative vibrations of these key words, which would be Limitation, Blockage, Self Centeredness, Detachment, Hopelessness, Suspicion, Control and Neediness.

Wow, quite a tall order, but frankly we wouldn't be here if some part of us didn't think we were up for it.
