Central Banks Eclipsed - Markets wobble

What’s new to say about the Eurozone on which so much of the health of the global economy depends as the dominoes keep tumbling with the astrologically expected inevitability?

 

Greece, Portugal, now Spain, Italy next, Germany downgraded in view of its perceived liability as fund of last resort – it’s rather awesome to watch in a spooky kind of way.

 

The upcoming November 13^{th Scorpio Solar Eclipse catches several of the key charts very uncomfortably. The ECB (European Central Bank) and modern Spain both have a Scorpio Midheaven which the November 22 degree Scorpio Solar Eclipse will conjunct – so giving them a crisis of direction. Several of the other EU Central Banks’ charts will also be affected most notably the US Federal Reserve Bank with its 23 degree Scorpio Sun. As well as the Bundesbank, Bank of Italy, and in a more minor way the Bank of England.}

It’s all rolling towards a much nastier mess late this year into 2013.

 

If member states exit then their central banks would have to uncouple from the ECB – and the national banks which look most likely to part company are Germany, Italy, Greece – with the Netherlands, Austria and UK also in a mood to separate.

 

So some may go for a default and some may form another EU Mark 11 of the stronger economies.

 

　

 

Just a brief look at some of the Stock Market charts since they seem to be on a bumpy roller coaster track at the moment. Looking ahead the Dow Jones loses the ‘up’ transiting Uranus trine Jupiter from Jan 2013 and moves into a confidence-denting tr Neptune square Sun through 2013/14.

 

The UK FTSE, the French CAC, German DAX and FTSE Eurofirst 300 all have 9 degree Suns in Capricorn or Cancer so will catch the full brunt of the tr Pluto square tr Uranus in 2013 with the worrisome, uncertain tr Neptune square Saturn at the same time. The BBC Global 30 has Mars at 10 Libra so again will run into a brickwall through 2013/14.

 

Pin pointing the timing of the exact ups and downs isn’t easy but the general trends are certainly clear – and unhappy.
