Cocktail time: there is a light

As Mercury squares Mars and then goes on to trine Venus on June 3, this week will be causing us to have some ups and downs for no apparent reason. There seems to be too much communication or a lack thereof, as we try to adjust to all the planetary interactions of this period. One day we are happy and the next day we are not. This roller coaster of sunny and cloudy days should not affect our relationships or work.

They say that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. I say there is always a lesson to be learned; for all we know, that light at the end of the tunnel may be the exit or a train speeding towards us. Whatever the case may be, we can either move out the way, hop on the train or exit at the other end. The important thing is to do something and move forward!

Train-hopper

2 ounces vodka

1 ounce Cointreau

2 ounces grapefruit juice

splash orange blossom water

splash orange bitters

Using a cocktail shaker, mix all the ingredients with ice and serve in a chilled martini glass.
