The Creative and Cosmic Self

by Saraswati J. Miller May 13, 2013 11:57 PM EST
Moon in Cancer (its own house) and moves to Pushya nakshatra today at 12:20 CDT. Pushya is the nourishing star, ruled over by Brihaspati- another name for Jupiter, the guru, the priest of the gods. Pushya, however, is ruled by Saturn, the planet of grief, struggle, slowness and time. There is a correlation between the two: Nourishment from time, from the structure of Saturn and his ways. Saturn always has your best interest in mind, even though it usually doesn't feel that way. Pushya nakshatra is about promoting dharma and dharma is how we restore or insure that lineage is intact, that needs are met, that knowledge is maintained. Saturn wants these things too, as does Jupiter. The symbol for Pushya is a milk giving cow udder, the nourishment of Ma, the flow of this nourishment, the source of life. Connect the dots, it's all there. It's called living life and learning along the way.

Today, Moon is getting drishti from Saturn and Mars. This is the stop/start energy that can create frustration, irritation, can get us out of dharmic flow. Surrender to Saturn and he will give more lasting, long term support, though perhaps not visible outright. There is plenty of expansion possible today, plenty of growth and wisdom attainable, certainly nourishment to be had, can you receive it? The gifts may not be in the form you had hoped for. Slow down, stop even, and be aware of the divine gifts that are being offered. Saturn is about reminding us of the deep art of surrender. Go with the flow.
