In my last blog I looked at how your child's astrology chart can definitely give you clues on how best to decorate their room. Even just looking at the Sun sign can offer insight into what colors and accents will be soothing or stimulating to your little one.
If your child is a Water or Earth sign check out my last entry.
If your child is a Fire sign (Aries, Leo or Sagittarius) you may want to consider bright or bold colors. These children are full of energy and like to be surrounded by an atmosphere that is inspiring and fun. An Aries child will find healthy stimulation in a room that evokes a sense of power. A neutral color on the wall with strong, red accents will spark his imagination. A Leo child will enjoy royal colors that make her feel special. Purple and yellow are royal colors and will go a long way to creating a fun atmosphere that will encourage the imagination. Sagittarius children are born adventurers so any decor that evokes a feeling of travel or connection with nature will be good. A theme based nursery that includes animals such as a safari theme will be exciting for your little one.

Air babies (Gemini, Libra and Aquarius) will do well in intellectually stimulating atmospheres. It is important these little ones have lots of interesting things to look at in their rooms. Mobiles, books and shiny objects are great. Gemini children love to be read to so make sure they have lots of books to play with. Light, happy colors such as soft yellow or baby blue will be great for these little ones. Libra children like shimmery objects so luminescent or pastel walls with mirrors are enjoyable. Aquarius children are less inclined to care about what their room looks like; however, less traditional baby colors will work for these children. If your little Aquarius is old enough to pick out the colors of her own room it is wise to let them chose.
