Think back to mid-to-late June of this year.
What horizons became clearer to you as destinations that you wanted to pursue? What realms of understanding did you realize you wanted to conquer? What arenas of your life felt like they had the potential of affording you a sense of greater meaning?
I ask this because what arose for you around that time may cast significant thematic hues over this week.
The reason? On June 19, the soulful Sun and generous Jupiter were conjunct, beginning a new celestial cycle. This Friday, these two planets will have moved around the sky to form a square alignment. And with that, insights and intentions seeded in June will likely return to our consciousness.
Have you stayed the path since then, encouraging your inner vision to expand in the direction that you felt was in your highest interest? Or have you swayed, and need to re-route yourself to get back upon the road that you know you want to travel? Alternatively, have you seen that what arose for you then had whispers of what you desired but did not fully yield what you now realize holds valued significance in that life arena? Consider also what you have learned between then and now that has provided you with a clearer understanding of the goals that you want to pursue.
A square alignment between planets can often feel challenging. That’s because it can feel like we are stuck in the middle, pulled in this direction and that one, without a sense that there is shared common ground. Yet, that’s where the work, and therefore the benefit, lay.
If you find tensions arising this week, instead of giving over to what you may perceive as the inevitability of their deadlock, stop for a moment (or two). Within this space of reflection see if you can find how the push-pull you feel actually has an equilibrium point. This balance point may come from growing or from curbing excess growth; it may come from taking on something new or giving something up; it may come from pursuing your path with a new vantage point or deciding to pursue an alternative one. Within this reflection lay inherent wisdom that may give you more faith—both in yourself, other people in your life, and the world around you.
This cycle of growth, that which was planted in June, may yield a more radiant expression of manifestation early January 2014, given that the Sun and Jupiter will be in opposition on January 5. Around that time you may even more clearly see the fruits of your labor, as well as how the understanding you gained this week, and the actions that were informed by it, have come to shape your continued growth.
