Are you the life of the party and your partner prefers to read a book in the corner? Can an extrovert and an introvert make a relationship work? Some signs find it trickier than others to match with their opposite.

Leo adores being in the spotlight and entertaining a wide audience. What they really need is a quieter, more retiring partner, preferably one who looks after the practicalities of life. They definitely don’t like being outshone.

An introvert like Virgo doesn’t appreciate too much noise and excitement, but if they date a partner like themselves they’ll probably turn into a recluse. A mate who pulls them out of their shell once in a while is their saving grace.

Pisces and Capricorn can go either into daydreams or too much work, respectively. A little fiery showmanship in their better half is no bad thing for them. It sparks up their inner flame so they’ll come out of their shells.

The friendly signs of Sagittarius, Aquarius and Gemini wouldn’t appreciate a loner for a mate. They need constant movement and variety in their lives, so a partner who can keep up with their nonstop pace is preferred. If things are dull at home, they’ll go off wandering to find excitement.

Libra and Cancer are highly sociable signs so they need a mate who enjoys wining, dining, partying and inviting people home to grand spreads. A party-pooper just won’t do for these two signs.

Aries doesn’t understand stay-at-home introverts who think too much and don’t do enough. They want a companion for their adventures, a mate with a taste for risks and a few thrills.

Taurus can be a stay-at-home type and, although not an introvert, they can be inward-looking. They tend to regard the flyaway showman type as rather tiring. That said, they do need a partner who can lift them out of their occasional ruts.

Scorpio doesn’t get on well with mates who aren’t like themselves. They like sharing intense moments in private on a one-to-one basis and matching like with like.
