Fated to Love -- or Destined to be Single?
Although there is often pressure to find love and settle down, the fact of the matter is that some people find more happiness remaining single. Read on to find out if your Chinese sign is the marrying type or not.

The Snake and The Dragon
These signs are relatively independent and tend to do just fine on their own. Being so ambitious, Snake and Dragon find it easy to leave romantic relationships along the wayside. Both are idealists and perfectionists, and therefore may find it difficult to discover a mate that measures up to their standards.

The Rat and The Horse
Both of these signs have a penchant for freedom. The Horse may find it easier to gallop away when the going gets tough, and therefore may not be in for the long haul. While the Rat does find solace in having a clan to come home to, they also like to keep their romantic options open. If these signs decide to settle down, their mate must be spontaneous, fun-loving and willing to accept the fickle nature of their besotted.

The Dog and The Pig

These signs are best suited to be in relationships as they are both family minded and extremely trustworthy. The Dog’s quest for a perfect mate may take some time, but he or she will not achieve ultimate happiness until they have done so. The Pig’s innocence and faith makes them a nurturing and trusting companion. Both of these signs may find that the quest for a soul mate is life’s ultimate purpose.

The Rabbit and The Sheep
Both of these signs tend to be romantic and caring, and are therefore well suited to be in relationships. Although the Sheep can be bossy at times, and the Rabbit a bit pessimistic, both should find domestic harmony relatively easily. While the Rabbit can be a bit distant from their own family, they nonetheless possess partnering qualities. The Sheep is pure in nature, has a kind heart and is ultimately a diehard romantic.

The Monkey and The Rooster
These signs love to be social and they inspire excitement wherever they go. The Rooster tends to be a bit of a dreamer and may let down their mate by chasing impractical goals. While they do try to keep their partners happy, Roosters may be inclined to nitpick and criticize their significant other to no end. The Monkey loves a mate who can keep up with their desire for fun and spontaneity; however, this sign may become bored easily with their partner.

The Ox and The Tiger
Tiger people are confident and passionate, but often times may go overboard in terms of intensity. The Ox can be terribly naïve in matters of the heart and may grow disappointed if a lover does not live up to their high standards. The Tiger would do well to learn to love in moderation and not take their feelings to such extremes. Ox is slow to warm up to a new mate and it takes them time to reveal their feelings. But when they do finally express their emotions, their relationships are based on honest conviction and trustworthy sentiment.
