Fulfillment at Work: Is the Grass Always Greener?

Are you perpetually dissatisfied at work? Would the grass be greener if you were doing something else? Fulfillment comes from being happy with what you have and making the most of it ... and some Sun signs find that easier to do than others.

If Aries doesn't care for their job, they're unafraid to leave and seek better opportunities. Generally, though, they'll make the best of where they are -- their boundless enthusiasm and initiative can always brighten even the dullest tasks.

Taurus places a high premium on security, stability and sameness, so they tend to fuss less about routine than others might. Still, they can be woefully unimaginative when it comes to making humdrum daily chores more enjoyable.

Gemini has a habit of getting distracted and wishing they were elsewhere. Maintaining focus is their biggest obstacle -- especially if they have a job that lacks variety. They need to take on more responsibility if they hope to find ultimate satisfaction.

Cancer is creative and ambitious, so they're always searching for ways to further their progress; either they'll look at a boring job as a stepping stone, or they'll move on. They're also remarkably sensitive to their environment, so they're always looking for congenial company in their workplace.

Inspirational and adventurous, Leo becomes easily depressed if stuck in a dreary job. They can temporarily amuse themselves by cheering their colleagues on, but they're bound to turn negative before long. They need to be realistic about what's possible, then make the most of the situation.

Virgo has a debilitating tendency to find fault with every job; indeed, what others might see as a great opportunity, they'll likely roll their eyes at. Perfectionists at heart, they need to remember to embrace the fun in what they're doing.

Libra always shows strong initiative and can usually dream up new schemes, if not new jobs. Once they find their niche, they'll make the most of any work situation.

Scorpio can cause themselves (and others) aggravation at work, because while they love to plot and plan, they inevitably lose interest in the big picture. They'd be wise to focus their formidable energies on their own tasks -- then they're sure to thrive.

Sagittarius requires adventure, variety and mental stimulation; otherwise, they'll simply flame out. Give them a job that suits them well, and their expansive tendencies will turn it into something even bigger and better!

Even a tedious job can be seen as a step up the ladder for Capricorn, for they know it takes time to reach where they want to be. That said, they can become so consumed with future achievements, they often fail to appreciate anything good in the present time.

Aquarius just can't cope with boredom. To counteract this, they may outlandishly suggest that all manner of leading-edge technology should automate their tedious chores -- leaving them free to be more inventive!

And Pisces can spend so much time in the clouds that the daily grind gets them down -- after all, no job could meet the Fish's expectations. But if they're able to become more creative in what they do, they'll make themselves happy.
