Full Moon in Cancer: Stormy Weather

As 2012 reaches its final days, along comes one last emotional storm to assure that we go out with a bang. Consider the full Moon in Cancer on December 28 one of great catharsis and emotional clearing to make way for 2013. Think back to issues that began last July and you can expect any feelings or hurts that were left unresolved to rear their head once again demanding our attention.
In fact, all of the emotional issues triggered by the many Uranus-Pluto squares throughout 2012 are reaching a fever pitch under the auspices of this full Moon in Cancer. This Moon squares Uranus in Aries (a hotheaded influence) and opposes Pluto in Capricorn (ancient bone-level rage) creating what’s known as a T-square in astrology with the missing leg of the cardinal cross being Libra.
The key to navigating the choppy waters of this emotional storm is to cling to peace, balance, harmony and compromise -- by all means. Saturn in Scorpio is supporting this full Moon, so the other survival tip would be to go deep into your feelings rather than reacting defensively in the moment.
Sit still with even the most turbulent of emotions. If you can be present with what is difficult, you can successfully ride the waves of this stormy influence. If you allow yourself to fly off the handle in an emotional fit of rage, you could create great damage to yourself and your relationships under this tumultuous influence. Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) are sure to feel this lunation the most, so take care to gently attend to your feelings without taking them out on others. This is a tremendous opportunity to let go of all of the hurts and emotional grievances of 2012 -- once and for all.
