"Analyze, compartmentalize, obsess or surrender, channel, and melt into the void of the All?"
As the Moon waxes full in Virgo on Sunday, we are confronted with our most neurotic tendencies -- anxiety, perfectionism, tearing ourselves to shreds with self-criticism, worry about every imaginable unknown, the vast array of uncertainties and the various vague fears that seem to plague us just on the edge of sleep. But as always, if we can drag ourselves out of the limited confines of our narrow minds -- we have options. We could swim over to the other side of the Piscean polarity -- crack our hearts wide open and surrender to the moment. Quick fix version: put on some music that moves you no matter how blah you're feeling!
We need the precision of Virgo to clean and purify the ground to make way for the real magic of the muses. Too much preparation or desire to control our external world leaves no room for the muses. But too little preparation devolves into an artistic slur.
One of my metaphysical heroes, Antero Alli takes up the internal conflict between being a magician vs. a mystic in his book "The Eight Circuit Brain." The magician does everything to effect perfect will and control over the outcome of events (Virgo), while the mystic does everything to prepare the heart for total surrender the the void, the All (Pisces) so that he or she may be used as a divine instrument/channel. We are often caught somewhere between the two worlds, all the while truly just searching for a deep and complete love to end the endless search.
Full Moons are blessed, auspicious occasions for us to work on integrating these elusive polarities dwelling within. Look to where Virgo-Pisces resonate in your own natal horoscope and watch for the outpouring of messages from your dreams over the next few days. With the majority of planets in Pisces between now and early March, this is indeed a time of divine inspiration, if your heart is open enough to tune in. If we're trapped in the obsession/control switch of the mind, we lose the signal. Reset, reset, reset!
