¼ teaspoon nutmeg
garnish: cut an orange into thick slices and place one slice inside the glass
Peel two of the oranges and one lemon and cut into pieces. Coat with some sugar, mash together.
Add the nutmeg, mix and set aside. Squeeze two oranges and one lemon and mix the juice with the California red wine in a wide mouth jar. Add the rum. If you have brandy, you can substitute the rum for brandy.
Add the fruit and sugar mixture that have previously mashed and mix together with a wooden spoon.
Add seltzer water, the more you add the less strong the flavor. I leave this to your discretion. Add some ice.
At serving time, you must pour the drink into the glasses preventing that any fruit falls into it.
