G8 - Will the Eurozone send tremors across to the USA

Barack Obama heads possibly the most important G8 Summit for decades at Camp David this weekend with Europe top of the world’s agenda.

The Eurozone is back on another cliff edge. Will Greece exit the euro, leaving possible global chaos in its wake and bringing about massive internal problems? Or will yet another deal be cobbled together? It is vital for President Obama’s re-election prospects that the EU imbroglio does not tip the USA back into recession so he is pushing Angela Merkel hard to switch from an austerity-only stance to one which includes an impetus for growth.

His relationship chart with her is not easy at the best of times and has been and will continue to be under considerable pressure right through this year – possibly worsening in June which is when absolute crunch point arrives in Greece. So it doesn’t look as if they are going to be dancing to quite the same tune.

But we’ve seen the panic before in the EU and an elastoplast is miraculously produced at the last minute which calms life for another two months. There’s no real indication from the Greece 1974/Euro 1999 relationship chart that they will exit. Though there is considerable confusion/anxiety from November this year onwards, worsening in 2013.

The Greece 1974 chart itself is in a horrible state not surprisingly with the scary, dead-halt Solar Arc Mars conjunct Pluto and Moon exact within 4 months though strongly in effect at the moment – being exacerbated by the transiting Uranus opposition Solar Arc Mars and the Greece Pluto Moon from Nov 2012 to early Jan 2013. So completely suppressed, and a very angry population indeed. Their woes run on through 2013/14 with tr Uranus square Saturn and tr Pluto in opposition – so major hardship and deprivation.

The Greece/EU relationship chart indicates a one-upmanship battle through this June and later in 2013 probably with game playing by the new Greek politicians who know they have to some extent got the EU over a barrel. If the population is starving, inside or outside the euro they’ll need financial aid and switching to the drachma will give major banks elsewhere acute headaches. By 2013 there is the same absolute split or total upheaval influences which are also on the Germany and UK relationship charts with the EU – so Greece will not be alone as it all goes up in the air.

The EU chart itself, 31 Dec 1957, is showing some tremors this year but it is early 2013 when the car crash really happens – with tr Pluto and tr Uranus hitting the 10 degree Capricorn Sun and Solar Arc Sun squaring the EU Mars and Solar Arc Saturn conjunct the financial EU Venus.

The ECB (European Central Bank), 1 June 1998, is exhibiting much the same pattern – of jolts and jangles this year with tr Uranus sextile/trine the ECB Mars opposition Pluto. But the really horrific downhill-slide comes in 2013 as tr Neptune squares that Mars Pluto opposition from May 2013 to 2015 – which is panic, failure, lack of will, devastation etc etc.
