As of February 15, both the Sun and Mercury will be hanging out together in the brilliant sign of Aquarius, giving us all the ability to tap directly into our inner Einstein.

Ideas will flit over the screen of your mind in such a fast-and-furious style that you may not feel like you have time to capture them all. But that’s what a journal and/or recording app are for! Make sure you have both at your fingertips this week.

Aquarius is the primary sign of the intellect -- it’s about the pure power of ideas without emotional attachments. Aquarius demands personal freedom to think beyond the box. Forget about tradition and convention. These are the kinds of ideas that become Great American Novels, award-winning screenplays or groundbreaking scientific concepts. E=MC squared indeed. But these ideas require playfulness and experimentation. You have to be fully comfortable with expanding your mind beyond the usual limits.

Ask yourself: what do I want to create? Even better: what do I need to create? What’s the idea that’s been burning inside you for weeks, months or years? If you didn’t have a pile of responsibilities, if you could just live your dream life, what idea would you give birth to?

Give yourself the gift of imagining that your mind is absolutely fertile and ready to make it happen. Forget the laundry, stop helicoptering your kids for a second, and tap into your inner genius.

It’s time to experiment as if your life depended upon it. 1, 2, 3 … Go!
