Grey’s Anatomy Season 8 premieres tonight. With ratings slowly slipping, are we seeing the end of the show? Debuting on March 27, 2005, they began with 18.46 million viewers and over the next two seasons climbed to having 19.84 million. They have steady declined since, with Season 7 down to 11.41million. So what do their stars have to say?

Things are definitely in flux for Grey's Anatomy (Aries Sun, Libra Moon). Although they can maintain a steady audience as long as they want, the fact is that once the morale of being at the top wanes without recourse to get back to the lead, Aries will typically know when to stop. Rather than cancellation, it's likely that the show will announce its own end, and leave with a super fab finale. With Saturn aligning with Jupiter this past year for the program, fans can count the days their show will be on the air.
