Happy Mother's Day

Mothers are the best. Yes, I have decided: you rule!

Not only do many of you fry up the bacon, you also bring it home. I know you're tired. I know you're often under-appreciated. But I am here to tell you that you are loved.

Yes, you are the best! Below is my handy-dandy guide to making the most of this most excellent day of days: the day we all say thank you for a job well done. Here is where the astrology part comes in.

In the sky on your day of days -- the Moon (ruler of Cancer and symbolic of the mother) is conjunct Jupiter and Uranus. What a heavenly combination of planets.

Jupiter is considered the planet of luck and good fortune. It represents bigness, and queen energy. The caution with anything related to Jupiter is not overdoing it.

Uranus is a planet all about change and progress. This planet ushers in opportunities sometimes disguised as upheaval we are not expecting.

Put all of this together and you have what I believe is a recipe for you to kick back and receive. I often find that women have a difficult time allowing love in. Today is a good day for you to allow others to take care of you. Be open to the generosity, love and gifts that are coming your way.

Don't try to control anything today. If you try to orchestrate or engineer your day, you will be putting a wrench in the cosmic plan. You may be in for a pleasant surprise. You may find that nothing happens; you just get a card and the Earth doesn't shake. Take that a nice reminder that you're on the right path.
