Simon Cowell has declared to the world that he is in love with American Idol make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy, who now sports quite a diamond on her left hand. While he did enter this alleged engagement straight after the demise of a six-year relationship (with TV presenter Terri Seymour), onlookers are wondering whether he is just rebounding or if this new romance is for real.

Astrologically, Libra Simon is growing up, and the fact that he’s serious about marriage just as Saturn (the planet of lessons) is in his identity house does give credibility to his claims that he’d like to settle down. Plus, an actual wedding -- and perhaps even a baby -- probably aren’t too far off either. Simon is likely to put his money where his mouth is as early as this summer, when he will be hosting the planet of luck in his committed-partner house, and an eclipse in his “father” house, all of which can lead to news of a surprise pregnancy and/or a sudden elopement.
