The phone is ringing. You're out of formula. You can't find your keys. Your hair has not been combed since yesterday morning and your child just began crying (again!). It's a scene you know all too well. The stars are not just a guide for what's good for your baby -- they can also be a guide for you as well. Astrology is a great way to tap into specific strategies to help yourself de-stress during times when counting to ten is just not going to cut it.

Aries
Stay active. If you don't get a dose of exercise somewhere in the day a few times a week you will not be able to cope. It may seem counter-intuitive as finding the time to exercise may seem impossible -- but if you do find this time -- you will feel better and likely not lose your keys as your head will be clearer and you won't be a stressed.

Taurus
You have a couple of options for stress relief. The first is a bit less expensive than the second. First go outside for a walk. The more you are out in nature the more relaxed you will be. Take your child out in the stroller and get some fresh air. The second is to go shopping. Taurus moms truly do benefit from shop therapy (as long as it doesn't cause more stress by becoming over-extended financially).

Gemini
Take some time out and read. Don't feel guilty about digging into trashy novels. They provide a much needed escape for Gemini moms during stressful times. If you can muster something more challenging than the latest 'Twilight' novel -- go for it! But don't just read how-to books. Read some good old fashion escapist fiction to get your calm on.

Cancer
Indulge in a little at home luxury for stress reduction. Bubble baths, at home spa treatments, candles and comfy, cozy bedding are all ways to get your heart rate down. Create a little sanctuary for yourself in your home. Beautifying your home is really an important task for Cancers.

Leo
Have a creative outlet. Hire a babysitter so you can take acting or dance classes. If it is not an option to take a class then put some music on after the kids go to bed and dance in your living room or make a new playlist on your iPod. If you don't have a creative way to express yourself, you're likely to fall into the blues.

Virgo

Get organized. If you are struggling to keep up with all that is required of you then hire an assistant, a nanny or a house keeper to lend a hand. If things feel out of control in any way then you may just toss your hands up in the air and give up. If hiring some help is not an option then it might be good to simply ask loved ones when you need a break.

Libra
Call a friend. If you life gets too much it is time to reach out to loved ones for some support. It is not easy for Libras to make decisions and having a best friend or your partner available to help guide you (aka make the decision for you) when you are stuck is a good thing. Don't make the mistake of thinking it is a sign of weakness if you need to talk it out and get others on board with the daily routine.

Scorpio
When stress levels hit an all time high, you do well with therapy. Thankfully having a professional therapist, life coach or even a good friend who can talk about the deeper, darker realities of life is a blessing for you. If you neglect your deeper side in favor of endless hours of 'Dora the Explorer' or Jonas Brothers videos you are likely to lose your temper much quicker than if you have some time to download once a week about what is really going on with you.

Sagittarius
You're a natural-born adventurer. Just because you're now a mom doesn't mean your gypsy wonder lust is gone. To preserve your sanity you must do some sort of travel from time to time. Even if it is just a day trip to the wine country or an afternoon at a museum, don't neglect your intellectual yearning to learn more about what exists outside of your four walls. Find another Sag mom and do a babysitting exchange once a month.

Capricorn
You need to feel the glory. It is not acceptable to be stuck in your house all day long with your child. Even if you are a stay at home mom you need to feel a sense of worldly accomplishment. Think about starting your own endeavor as a mommyprenuer. Do you have some talent that is not being acknowledged or showcased? Don't hide away. It is not all about your baby -- you are still an amazing woman and you deserve to be seen for all that you do. Go out and beat your chest and get some recognition from time to time. I guarantee the serotonin will shoot up instantly.

Aquarius
Spend some times with grown ups. As natural leaders and rule breakers, you may end up feeling somewhat stifled if you spend all your time in mommy groups and with your children. Spend at least one or two hours a week with only adults -- no children in site. This will allow you to be much more present for your children.

Pisces
Meditate. You are the first ones to fog out and forget things when stress hits hard. The best antidote for this is quite time to yourself. If you can't stand quiet then classical music or a nice long walk by the water. Do something peaceful to clear your mind. You are so sensitive you take on everyone's problems and it can be overwhelming. Don't talk. Don't listen. Just be.
