You can do it all, if you plan carefully on the 1st: Work, parties, work parties and working out. What should you do, if you find out that your workout partners are flaking out on you on the 5th? Don’t tell them that’s cool. It’s not cool! Tell them you’ll see them down at the other end of the pool eating dust during the adult swim meet while you’re crossing the finish line first. Then go do your forty laps! You might make them rethink their lazy attitude. You workout all the time, now, and everybody tells you how glad they are on the 10th, 11th or 12th (were you a bit of a stress case before, maybe?). Your stick-to-it-iveness is your secret weapon on the 15th (and every other day). You are really having fun with your fitness on the 20th. On the 25th, go deep, whether you’re stretching or doing some emotional work. On the 26th, get your workout in early, then rest up. On the 31st, remember that the key to any regular, routine, successful workout is simply showing up.
