How Will Your Kid Cope with Summer Camp?

Aries
No doubt, an Aries kid will be hopping up and down about camp, desperate to go. The thought of all that adventure and competition makes their heart race with excitement. In fact, you may even feel marginally hurt they aren't more sorry to leave home!

Taurus
Taurus will go silent, brood a little and feel unsettled at the prospect of change, for they adore their routines and home indulgences. But as long as they're reassured that the camp's menu is to their taste, so to speak, they'll gradually come around to the idea.

Gemini
Gemini's eyes will light up at the thought of leaving home. Indeed, they're wanderers at heart and adore nothing more than having a great circle of new pals with whom to chat and swap ideas. Since they're the mischievous sort, they may get into trouble ... but that'll make it all the more fun from their point of view!

Cancer
Cancer won't be sure about heading off to camp, and may need to be shown the location before they become comfortable with the idea. They also might want to take their own friends with them, since they can become defensive with too many strangers around.

Leo
Leo will huff and puff since they dislike the idea of being lost in the crowd. They need to know there will be moments for them to shine, entertain and be applauded. Living arrangements will need to be top-notch as well; they're simply not good at roughing it.

Virgo
Virgo will blink a little at first and worry about hygiene. But they're generally adaptable, and as long as they know they'll be given tasks, they won't be too unhappy. They don't excel at instant socializing with new friends, but they do like to be helpful -- so they'll break the ice soon enough.

Libra
Libra will need to know it's a nice camp with clean bedding, well-bred company and good food. They appreciate elegance and won't want anything too muddy or messy.

Scorpio
Scorpio will initially mull it over and work out all the angles; after all, these folks tend to stand back and figure out how to turn things to their advantage. But once they get into gear with their own little clique, they'll surely blossom.

Sagittarius
Sagittarius will be like a dog with two tails, bouncing with enthusiasm at the thought of activities, fun and lots of new pals with whom they can share their grander plans. But they'll insist on taking a pile of reading material -- just in case things turn boring.

Capricorn
Capricorn will sigh in anticipation of having to break in new friendships -- something that doesn't come easily to them -- and you'll need to give them a few hints about breaking the ice. Try to coax them into being less negative, since they always seem to look at the downside first.

Aquarius
Aquarius will be in seventh heaven with such a choice of friends to play with, and they'll rapidly fill up their address book. The great outdoors may leave them a touch cold, but the company will make up for it.

Pisces
Pisces will wince and retreat, latch onto the first friendly face they see, and not want to get too involved in the camp's crowd. They'll do better if they can tote a friend along with them. Do all you can to boost their confidence before they go!
