Imagining Unexpected Freedom with the Aquarian New Moon

We just experienced an Aquarian New Moon (February 9, 2013 @ 11:20 pm Pacific time - 22 degrees Aquarius). Once we're a couple of days into the new moon, it's considered a good time to start new projects, usually leading up to the full moon, which will be on February 25th. We have a Mercury retrograde beginning on the 23rd though, so this gives us this nice little window of initiation and beginnings from, say Monday the 11th through Thursday the 21st. 

What are you going to do with it?

Aquarius generally symbolizes unexpected change, authentic freedom, individuality and even rebellion. However, there are several key planets in Pisces during this time, including a lovely little stellium of Moon, Mercury, Mars & Neptune, so at least some part of what we feel triggered to change might be spiritual, intuitive, creative or mystical, or using these soul centered resources. Certainly this is a time to drift into imagination and create on the causal plane rather than working too hard hitting our heads against tired old walls.

The paradigm consciousness shift at the end of 2012 has left many of us depleted and not sure of where we're going yet. We're still getting used to the higher frequency energy, whether we're sensitive enough to really know the shift has occurred or not. (It has!). Many people have lost interest in previous goals and ambitions. This is okay. It's time to dream a new reality in collaboration with our evolving friends and spirit guides, known and unknown.

Use this new moon to imagine the kind of life you'd really love to have on this planet, not only for yourself, but for every single human, animal, plant or rock. Aquarius wants us to be truly humanitarian and fully authentic, unique, alive and free. Every one of us, no exceptions. Be creative and be willing to amaze yourself with your compassion. That's the energy of the next ten days if we're willing to think outside the box of old paradigm expectations.
