In September 2007 the planet Saturn entered the sign of Virgo, indicating many structural changes in our world, including our collective need to attend to the details of health and diet. Although Saturn moved into Libra at the end of this past October, we are now about to align our vibrations with the final messages of healing that began two and a half years ago as Saturn now takes a quick return into Virgo energies around April 8th and forward again May 31st.
I've been feeling these reminders more forcefully in the past few weeks, even though Saturn is not in Virgo just yet. However when we're dealing with one of the distant transformative planetary energies, it's best to listen to the whispers so that we can use the energy to create good results by the time of the actual transit. This might be a good time to contemplate the messages you've received over these years -- noting the ones you've listened to and incorporated into your health regime, and of course, revisiting the ignored inbox messages nagging in the back of your intuitive mind. Personally I'm hearing loud stage whispers regarding chocolate and coffee!
Our bodies give us plenty of signals. Our energy levels, the quality of our skin and hair, the light in our eyes, our strength and flexibility as well as our emotional moods are all indicators of general health. We know when we're listening to our inner wisdom and when we're not. We have an empowered, grounded feeling when we live according to our health related beliefs. This focus on health doesn't have to be in a punishing or overly ascetic manner. There is room to enjoy the food we eat and the kind of exercise we do. Health is very personal, intuitive and perhaps changeable with the seasons and the times of our lives.

I invite you to take some time to meditate with your body, asking your body consciousness to advise you about which foods it would most like you to eat or avoid, what supplements you could take, it's favorite beverages for health and longevity, and the level of exercise it would like each day.
You might be surprised by the co-creative relationship you could have with your body -- this wonderful temple that allows your spirit to play on the earth.
