J-Lo and Marc Anthony Split: What Happened?

After seven years of marriage, J.Lo and Marc Anthony announced on Friday that they are calling it quits -- so, what went wrong?

Despite the fact that their Moons (ruler of emotion), Mercury (ruler of communications), Venus (ruler of pleasure) and Mars (ruler of passion), were all compatible, it seems the seven-year-itch for J.Lo and Marc Anthony couldn’t be scratched hard enough. Yes, astrologically speaking, they have a good basic compatibility, but it seems that their contrasting Sun signs -- J.Lo is a Leo and Marc a Virgo -- could be the cause of their doom. A Saturn cycle could have also been to blame -- this is a 7-year cycle that restarts everything and tests how stable the foundation is between two in a marriage. For them, this Saturn cycle ends in Libra: for J.Lo, this indicates it could be more an issue of her wanting more freedom and the ability to express herself; for Anthony, it can indicate a discomfort with material things.

The marriage may be over, but it’s obvious there will always be a major connection between the two.
