Two newly elected Governments have started to come clean about the dire state of the finances they have inherited from their predecessors. One is Japan and the other is Hungary.
The Japan country chart has been in a Neptunian slide for quite a few years and that continues on till 2013 or thereabouts. This year especially the national mood is edgy and tense with the tr Uranus opposition tr Saturn square the Japan Gemini Moon. Then Solar Arc Uranus will conjunct the Japan Aquarius Sun come 2011/12 so it’s not going to get easier since that will bring major jolts and upsets.
The newly departed Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama, set in motion the biggest ever postwar budget, a 630 billion pound GBP (1000 billion dollars USD) spending spree aimed at “saving people’s lives”. The new Prime Minister is now talking of the Japanese economy on the brink of collapse.
The Bank of Japan chart also; with a frustrating trapped tr Pluto sextile Mars in 10/11. So the July elections which may topple the new movement will bring in a Government with a tough road ahead.
The Bank of Japan chart (10 Oct 1882) is certainly indicating high anxieties in 2010 and hints at a complete financial roadblock in 2011/12 with Solar Arc Sun square Saturn. This year there is a confused, uncertain tr Neptune square Saturn returning in November 2010; with a frustrated held-back tr Pluto sextile Mars from through 2010 and 2011; plus a discouraging tr Saturn square Venus till mid 2010. There is also a very tough, short-of-cash tr Pluto square the Solar Arc Saturn this year; a highly strung tr Uranus opposition Solar Arc Neptune in Nov/Dec 2010.
So nothing that looks like a quick fix arriving any time soon.
The new Hungarian Government is also starting to come clean about the dire state of their economy which sent the global markets and the Euro into another downward slide last week. They are not in the Euro so at least have the option of devaluation but it still raises yet more questions about the state of Europe.
There are three possible charts for Hungary – 23 Oct 1989, 13 Nov 1918, 15 Aug 1001 (OS). What is wonderfully apt is that all three charts, even so far apart, of significant moments in Hungary’s history – all point to the same result looked at on the predictions.
The 1001 chart has tr Neptune in an undermining opposition to the Leo Sun this year and highly confused, uncertain tr Saturn opposition tr Uranus square Neptune as well; with the hardship and austerity tr Pluto square tr Saturn hitting their Venus in Libra square Mars; plus another nervous collapse Solar Arc Saturn square Neptune; an financially undermining Solar Arc Neptune conjunct Venus and jolting Solar Arc Uranus opposition Saturn in 10/11. So it all looks highly stressed and won’t improve until at least beyond 2012.
On the USA front the best barometer to the economic climate is Timothy Geithner. He is only a few days younger than the President and is a Sun Uranus in Leo which tr Neptune is undermining by opposition till late 2010, after which Neptune opposes his Mercury in Leo thro’ 11/12. So a slipping, sliding, dithering time. Tr Neptune is exactly opposition his Uranus in Sept/Oct/Dec 2010 which is very highly strung and undermining.
That looks to be a critical global moment where finances are concerned since it shows up on many of the key charts. Geithner is gradually losing the very stuck Solar Arc Pluto square his Saturn as this year goes on. But he has tr Uranus in a highly insecure opposition to his Mars either at the moment and on thro’ 11; or if he was born after midday in 2011/12. Mars Uranus tends to bring high stress and lead to rash misjudgements in the heat of the moment.
His relationship with Barack Obama is very jangled come Nov/Dec and even before then decidedly cool in Oct 2010.
