Javier and Penelope, Married at Last!

The country of Spain has many reasons to rejoice: cheering for their first World Cup win and applauding as two of their most famous movie stars, Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz, wed (in a very private ceremony at a friend’s house in the Bahamas). While it isn’t easy for two Hollywood stars to stay married, what are the chances for Penelope and Javier?

Quite oddly -- without knowledge of their Rising Signs, basing this solely on their solar charts -- they’re not the most obvious couple. While her sensual Taurus Sun blends well with his romantic Pisces, they have a quirky blend of elements that creates a lot of tension and push-pull action. With Javier having the more “assertive” chart (with a Venus in Aries and a Sagittarius Moon), and Penelope’s chart more delicate (with Venus in Pisces and Mars in Cancer), it is apparent that they tend to gravitate toward very traditional roles in their relationship. While this is a dynamic that can work, it’ll take a lot of work and patience on both sides, as balance isn’t easy to come by, and power struggles are always going to be an issue.
