Beautiful news: On June 25, Jupiter finally left the sign of his detriment (Gemini) and moved into his sign of exaltation (Cancer). In layman's terms, this means that the qualities of Jupiter -- wisdom, expansion, opening -- will express beautifully through the sensitive and nurturing waters of Cancer between now and July 2014.

After a year of enduring the so-many-choices-it-makes-your-head-spin Gemini, it's now a welcome shower of emotional healing and a return to our gut instincts. Instead of spinning our wheels and never quite coming up with a viable answer, we can now delve deeper into our core and connect on an instinctual level with what is nourishing to our souls.

It's also a wonderful chance to connect to the wisdom of the feminine and our lunar natures. The Moon changes signs quickly, which thus changes our moods quickly, so it's easy to understand how Jupiter would bring so much wisdom in terms of navigating the constant sea of emotional change. We now have the opportunity to understand cycles and to flow with how life naturally waxes and wanes. Our human tendency is to cling to a favored mood, feeling or cycle rather than go with the inevitable ups and downs of the ever-spinning wheel of life.

Another lucky benefit of Jupiter moving into Cancer is that it forms a Grand Water Trine with Neptune in Pisces and Saturn in Scorpio. All Water signs benefit immensely from this super fertile and creative triangle in the sky. The potential for healing old emotional wounds and being good mothers to ourselves and others is pronounced. The assistance from Saturn in Scorpio allows us to connect to feelings in a structured and healing way to avoid tantrums and over-reacting. The support to Jupiter in Cancer from Neptune in Pisces is to allow us to connect to the subtle and the sublime in a way that takes us beyond our petty self-centered concerns. The potential for deep emotional growth and healing is tremendous.

This is also a wonderful time to heal old family patterns and wounds -- especially with mother figures or wounds carried down through the mother lineage in your family. We’re all being asked to come down from the head to the heart and enter the deep wisdom of the receptive feminine flow.
