Jupiter/Mercury Conjunction: HeadSpace

Jupiter and Mercury meet today in Aries promising some fireworks in the boardroom or on the canvas. It will be those good kind of fireworks though, not those dull misfires that shoot up only rush down, lopsided into the bay.  Jupiter expands our minds to think BIG and Mercury puts teeth in our ideas. It's a good time to record what you're thinking. With these two planets in Aries, things will shoot into your mind at rapid fire speed and you'll want to remember the good ones! 

The theme is on the message. There is an exuberance in our speech which reflects our desire to convey something fresh. It may take some time to hone the idea -- Jupiter tends to expands things sometimes to the point of being unwieldy -- but this is not the sort of  enthusiasm you want to take for granted. Write, speak, teach, pitch what thrills you. Jupiter is likes to get us out of our comfort zones and when it contacts Mercury this means expanding or changing what has become routine in language -- whether how we write or how we communicate to other individuals. The confluence of these two planets may mean traveling (Jupiter) short distances (Mercury) or exposing ourselves to information that is exotic in some way. Be willing to learn something new or don't be afraid to communicate or express those larger-than-life ideas.

Key questions for artists: What is inspiring within my immediate or accessible environment?  What ideas or images are the most thrilling to me?  How can I bring those to bear on my work? What do I need to clear from my head in order to move forward? What is the most direct route to my message? If I didn't censor myself, what or how would I say something? What is something unfamiliar that I want to explore?
