Leadership comes in many shapes, sizes and star signs.
Leo, Aries, Scorpio and Capricorn are often slated as the most obvious signs for leadership material (or those signs on the cusp of the 10th house). As I say, these are the ones most written about. But here’s the rub:
· Not every Aries, Leo, Scorpio or Capricorn will be leadership material
· Leadership in the real world outside the Astro textbooks is spread nicely amongst the other signs in the astrological databank
· The Sun sign and Mid-heaven are not the only indications of leadership- although this point is absolutely one for another time
Contrary to popular belief, inspirational leadership isn’t confined to the fire or air signs- the masculine or extroverted signs. Inspirational leadership walks the talk- and that can come in many different forms.
The other day I came across one of the best examples of inspirational leadership I have seen- from a 6th house Sun.
Leadership from the 6th house inspires through engagement and service. The leader in question puts the interests of his staff before himself and leads by example- something you rarely see in leadership coming from the 1st or the 10th houses.
The danger is that in selflessly serving others, you lose sight of your own ambitions and reward. In the case of the leader in question, there is very definitely a fine line being walked. This is always a concern when it comes to 6th house planets, and of greater importance when a 6th house Sun is involved- regardless of the sign it is in.
And, before you all write to me in outrage, I’ll say it again- there are no absolutes when it comes to leadership…just saying…
