Justin Trudeau - a Canadian dynasty?

Justin Trudeau may be preparing to step onto the path which would follow his father’s footstep to the premiership of Canada. The son of the charismatic PM Pierre Trudeau who was in power from the late 1960s till the mid 1980s and ‘flower child’ Margaret Trudeau, he was born 25 Dec 1971 at 9.27pm Ottowa, Canada. His parents separated when he was six and his father gained full custody.

 

Justin has an extraordinarily powerful and talented chart. And with tr Saturn now in his 3^{rd house he’s preparing to move out of a low profile phase to start the steady climb which may take him ultimately to the top.}

He has a Sun Capricorn on the cusp of his entertaining 5th house on the point of a T Square to a Pluto opposition Mars – so utterly determined, quite ego centric. His Pluto is in an Air Grand Trine to an executive-ability Saturn in Gemini on his Midheaven trine Venus in Aquarius – so rock solid, slightly bleak at times, able to turn on the charm to order. That Grand Trine forms two Kites with the Pluto opposition Mars and Saturn opposition Neptune IC.

 

His family connection is very much in focus on his chart with that emphasised Neptune in his 4th (like Prince Charles) plus Mercury, Jupiter in Sagittarius and his Sun which hovers between 4th and 5th houses.

 

This year has certainly boosted his confidence with his Solar Arc Jupiter trine Pluto and there’s much to keep his enthusiasm and confidence high in 2013 and beyond.

 

His father came to power when he was in his late forties. When Justin is that age tr Saturn will be in the same place in his chart as it was in his father’s as he gained power. Though they are very different temperaments.

 

Pierre Trudeau, 18 Oct 1919 7.03 am Outremont, Canada, was a Sun Libra on his Ascendant with a flashy Neptune Jupiter Moon in Leo in his 10th. He also had a tough minded Pluto trine Mercury in Scorpio, sextile Mars Saturn in Virgo – so not the easiest man to get along with.

 

Mother Margaret, 19 Sep 1948 1 pm Vancouver Canada, married at 22 to Pierre nearly 30 years older than herself, is a Sun Virgo in the 10th so keen on public exposure; with an Aries Moon opposition Neptune making her spaced out. Her Venus in flashy Leo is in a seductive, passionate conjunction to Pluto and both square Mars in Scorpio. So no surprises that her love life was intense and rather anguished. She had affairs with Robert Kennedy and Ronnie Woods.

 

All three of the children reflect their workaholic, intellectually rigorous, disciplinarian father in their charts. Michel, 2 Oct 1975 2.30 am Ottowa who died in an accident in 1998 had a Sun Pluto conjunction sextile Saturn and sextile Neptune. Alexandre, 25 Dec 1973 7.21 am Ottowa has a Capricorn Sun opposition Saturn square Pluto with Uranus opposition Mars.

 

Justin looks the most likely to carry on the family dynasty.
