Coming off the holiday madness, Scorpio Katy Perry and Gemini Russell Brand have announced their engagement. Although they’ve been an inseparable couple since they met in October, are they built to last?

Analysis:
Sex is a major motivator in their relationship, but not just because the physicality of their affections are that intense. It’s because they communicate at a level of deep intimacy through sex and this is a major foundation in which their bond is created. However, as consuming as their passion is now, Russell’s signs don’t indicate that he has the long-term thinking or stamina that Katy has. While she is driven by idealism, she is much more serious than him, and in the end this will be an issue they will have to face.

As he gets to know her, she will get more intense. Meanwhile, what she gets from him now will stay the same. Ultimately, this issue will make “forever” more work than he suspects and less of a challenge than she thinks.
