Keeping the Peace: Libra on the 10th

So Miss 14 was telling me about yet another schoolyard drama.

Jane, the resident princess, was having (another) argument with Mary, who also had princess tendencies. Miss 14, who has way too much Aries energy and an Aquarius Venus to be a princess was, with the rest of her group, caught in the middle.

Girls, I said, shaking my head.

I know, she said, shaking hers.

So what did you do? I asked.

Easy, she said. Jane and Mary will be talking again by Wednesday, but neither of them will talk to me if I take sides.

So what did you do? I asked again.

I thought carefully about both sides…and then went and talked to the boys.

She didn’t ruffle any feathers in doing so, she just weighed up the situation and went and talked to the boys until it was all over. With Mercury conjunct Mars in Aries, she talks boy language well (they don’t prattle on about feelings and stuff Mum, they just hang out…she has a point…).

By Wednesday everyone was talking again.

Miss 14 has Libra on the cusp of the 10^th.

I’ve often wondered how this will reflect in her public life, the things she will grow up to do. At this point she has no idea what she wants to do and I’m cool with that.

Despite her practical Capricorn Ascendant and extreme Aries, right from kindergarten she has been used as a peacemaker and behaviour moderator. Not in the usual Libra way, but in a quiet, detached way.

With Venus, the planet ruling her 10^th, in the 2^nd house in Aquarius, not that far away from her Aquarius Moon, her methods are not in any way obvious or traditional. She has never followed the pack, she has never tried. So far, she has always held true to herself. I’m proud of that.

Her type of peace-making, diplomacy, mood moderating is not traditionally Libran, but what people see is her 10^th house Libra.

If you have Libra on the cusp of the 10^th, your career or public story will be told through Venus- wherever she happens to be and the contacts she makes to other planets in your chart- wherever they happen to be. The outcome, what the world sees, will be Libra, in some way, shape or form.
