Love that Virgo

This is the ideal time to get down to business and fix the nagging, pesky problems in our lives. We have the Sun in Virgo and a Mercury retrograde in Virgo too. This Mercury retrograde has a detailed practical side as well as the deeper transformational issues I mentioned in the last post.

Getting the job done is the order of the day. We might all have just a bit more organizational skills and detailed precision for these next few weeks. As one who has no earth planets in her chart, I value the Sun in Virgo each year as a time to catch up with myself and get serious, especially after a bit of lionness summer laziness. I just fixed computer synching problems I've been having for months, found boxes of files that need to be taken care of and organized my to-do list. For supercharged Virgo days, mark your calendar for September 7 and 8. The Moon will be in Virgo for these two days as well as the Sun and Mercury. Just as I mark my calendar each month for Pisces Moon because I know I'll need a chocolate bar tucked away and time for the pool (or at least a bubble bath), the double Virgo days each year are my days to really get things done.

Learning how planetary energies affect us in this general way can be a real help in learning to live intuitively. If you are invited to an event and don't feel like going but don't know why, it might be resistance -- working through the resistance might result in a new experience or a fabulous time. On the other hand, it might be not a great time energetically for you to be at that type of event.

I would be completely annoyed to have to go to a party or waste time in any way with the productive energy of a Virgo Sun and Virgo Moon beaming through me. I want to be home cleaning cupboards or doing taxes. Knowing simple astrological transits and cycles can clarify and validate our personal intuition, allowing our lives to flow more effortlessly.
