Is Marilyn Manson Still Relevant?

Marilyn Manson’s eighth album comes out today, Born Villain. Getting more press for his love life than his music, and dropped by his record label, Interscope, in late 2009, can this album make him relevant again?

As a Capricorn with a Leo Rising, Marilyn does have a chance to make a splash back into the spotlight, as his natal Taurus mid-heaven currently has Jupiter (luck and prosperity) in it. Plus, over the next year his career house will host Jupiter and have an extended stay of loving Venus. Fans will be back, but how long he can make this last will be up to Marilyn. Since Gemini is the overriding energy that will be in the air, he will have to switch his gears and show something more than just the gory gloom-and-doom he’s known for, or at least expand his vision of it. As it goes, it’s time for change for Marilyn, and if he can do it, success can be his.
