Mars, ruler of Aries, is the master of strategy and god of war. With the Sun currently in Aries and with Mars finally turning direct on April 14th, time to strategize with a centered head is important.

I believe that life must be enjoyed wholeheartedly and passionately, which means we need to be closely in touch with our emotions. But sometimes, letting our emotions run rampant may set us back in our plans or even undermine the solidity of our desires. Thus, let us absorb the energy from Aries and center our minds by shaping our thoughts so that we plan accordingly without losing sight of who we are. This strategic approach is applicable to all projects and tasks. It is time to write things down and hit the ground running.

Basil Mojito for Strategy

2 shots light rum

10 fresh basil leaves

1 lime, juiced

1 lemon, juiced

1 tablespoon sugar (brown is good, too)

½ glass of soda water

Place the lime and lemon juice, 8 basil leaves and sugar in glass and muddle all ingredients. Add crushed ice, rum and soda. Stir contents. Garnish with basil leaf on top.
